Disclaimers:

I will have a contract for each job, mainly stating the obvious and generalized, but also covers this information in case a customer doesn’t find this page, and to waive liability on my part if I do something for you and something unrelated happens.

I am a new small business owner. I am NOT a licensed professional in any way even if I hold some of the same skills or knowledge. A lot of my abilities are from experience over the years, not from a school. I have no problem helping you figure out appointments for professional help (it can be daunting a times I know) or guiding you in the right direction/giving advice. I may be trying to make money and do something I love, but I’m not a bad person in my book, which is why this FAQ page exists!

*Trucks Max Towing is between 10,000lbs and 12,500lbs but the hitch rating is 10,000lbs, so if you supply your own hitch for a heavier trailer (subject to the trailer being road-worthy and an inspection by me) I’ll still tow it up to my comfort level.

*8’x4’ Utility trailer has a max capacity of 900lbs and tailgate for easy furniture loading

*Vehicle scanning uses OBD2 via BlueDriver and is great for at-home/project use but not designed to replace the technology that professional shops use.

*I decide if I am able to do any moving or loading personally and am not liable for others’ contact with equipment or vehicles (if you jump off and break a leg or if I decide I’m not able to move a heavy item for whatever reason).

*Roadside assistance includes tire pressure, tire change (I do NOT retain liability over tires condition and may refuse if the tire or rim is not suitable for road use), jacking up (up to 8Ton) and other abilities. I do NOT have jack/axle stands above 3-4Ton (3-4,000lbs) therefor I may not provide service depending on circumstance.

What Types of Electronics do You Repair?


It depends on a lot of factors. I offer free consults specifically for that reason (and for simple on/off fixes:), Send me a message and let me know what’s up!

Do You Use Original or Third-Party Parts?


It depends on availability and the fix, and of course the customers budget. I offer a wide-array of services that make it impossible to answer easily.

How Long Does a Repair Usually Take?


It can take anywhere from a few seconds to more than a week+ depending on what the job is and if waiting for parts is counted in that time-frame. I tend not to count it as “the official job time” because waiting for parts is an inconvenience not a problem (and most shippers have expedited shipping for more cost so if price is no object, it could be a 1-day job instead of a week). A free consult is often the best way to find out what time looks like for the job.

Is There a Warranty on Repairs?


Generally if the product is at fault, not my work, then I’d give a lower price for the same service and would also find a way around the defective product if possible. If I’m at fault, it’s on me not you, unless something was tampered with or modified after I worked on it.

Do I Need an Appointment or Can I Walk In?


Appointments are generally required for both documentation purposes however due to some people not using phones or banks (they exist, trust me), I can make an exception for the odd job especially if it’s a quick fix or really small (these may not be obvious to the customer so please setup a call or email with me so I can advise, it’s always best to have an experienced person “on the line” instead of taking the risk yourself, regardless of what the issue may seem to be (computers are NOT simple devices anymore!))

How Much Will My Repair Cost?


It fully depends on what the repair is and the steps to solve it. I take a different approach to my time value from most people, so my time is mainly charged based on effort & details, not the core issue (the problem can be easy to figure out but take a long time and method to fix).

Can You Recover Data From My Device?


Data recovery depends fully on your device, my knowledge and abilities, and how well you know your options ahead of time. A quick chat can figure this out for you!

How Do You Ensure My Data is Secure?


I know I wouldn’t let someone go through my phone. The best advice I have is “make sure to tell me what NOT to open/look at on your phone, or put things in hidden folders/offload to a storage service or other device”. I record all interaction with products for my own protection and customers peace of mind, so you don’t have to believe me if you don’t want to!

Do You Have a Buyback or Recycling Program For Old Devices?


Yes! I have no problem disposing of a lot of different types of things for you for a small cost! I also offer junk removal and other trailer/towing/truck-related services you can find on the Home page!

NOTE: I DO NOT BUYBACK AND I DO NOT BUY FOR THE PURPOSE OF RE-SELLING FOR THE CUSTOMERS PROFIT UNLESS THE SHARE IS SPLIT AFTER I SELL A PRODUCT, LARGELY DUE TO BEING A NEW SMALL BUSINESS

What Certifications Do Your Technicians Have?


None. I won’t provide services for what I don’t know/can’t do, but I can redirect you to those who can without you searching yourself (it’s just easier and I know what I can’t do!)

What Payment and Warranty Options Are Available?


I try to do a complete job (including testing and offering a return call to follow-up if something isn’t working, however apart from the related question near the top of this page, I generally wouldn’t consider a warranty or refund.

Multiple payment options are available including contactless, cash, and digital.

NOTE: YOUR CARD/PHONE PAY MUST HAVE WIRELESS CAPABILITY AS I DO NOT CARRY A CARD READER.
